March 2025

As we roll into spring and daylight saving time, we start to see a lot of golf activity coming up.

With the addition of new members to the club, in addition to the old-timers, some are asking about regular group events that guys run. If you would like to bring in new players, I can set up a page on this site where we list your schedule and contact info. We can help bring new guys to your groups, if you are open to that. Let me know (brian.ermgc@gmail.com)

Membership Update

Thank you to all who renewed this year, and welcome to all of our new members! As of 3/19/25, our club now has 749 members!

Reminder: All ERMGC members can call the pro shop at ER eight (8) days out to make a tee time, rather than the seven (7) day public advance tee time. Another member benefit is the 15% discount on many items in the pro shop.

If you have friends or acquaintances who might like to join, send them to the registration link:

Team Match Play (TMP)

Our club participates in the popular NCGA Team Match Play event, hosting both Thursday and Saturday teams. This is a unique team and individual event where we compete against 2 or 3 local clubs, playing matches both at home and at the other courses. Play is match play.

Contact the team captains for more info:

Summer-long Match Play

Our very popular, summer-long Match Play Championship will kick off in mid- to late-April, with a Match Play draw party where the initial pairings are drawn. This year we return to single-elimination bracket play for the 128 player field. Win your first 2 matches and you are guaranteed winnings! Members must have two (2) ERMGC events played in the 12 months prior to the first round of MP.

We will host a Match Play party for contestants only at the ER Grille on April 17th, one week before the start of the first round. Dinner and a drink will be provided, there will be an match play rules seminar, and we will draw for seeding in the brackets to see who plays whom.

Mulligans

No photo description available.

Several ERMGC club members travelled to Quail Hollow in September 2022 to support the USA team vs the International team. With their colorful and patriotic coordinating outfits, they got some decent national and international coverage! While this may seem like an old reference, they make an appearance in the Netflix series, "Full Swing" in season 3, episode 7, early on in the episode. Representin'!!
